in 1991, in Snellville, GA a young boy from Boston, MA and a young Southern girl became friends. The blonde haired boy signed her year book before they parted their ways for the summer.
They grew up in the same community going to the same middle school and high school, but didn't really pay each other any attention. Then in 1987, they reacquainted with each other in college. They were friends for the first few months, but eventually something changed and there were major fireworks!
They dated for five years, had a beautiful wedding in 1992 and BANG...they've been married for 20 years!
Yep, that's our story in a nutshell! Oh, I forgot to mention a few of the things that have filled these past 20 years:
laughing, loving, playing, porch sittin', back
country camping, college partying, baby making, hammock hanging,
motorcycle riding, boat sitting, boiled peanut eating, tear drying,
world traveling, lake loving, child rearing, hiking,
maturing, campfire sitting, Golden Rule following, zip lining, bbq smoking, smiling, toes in the water sitting, biscuit sopping, big hair band
listening, back patting, Parrot-heading, meningitis surviving,
mountainside sitting, Caribbean sailing, corporate life living, star
gazing, bluegrass picking, family loving, memory making...and the list
goes on....
He is the love of my life and I am so thankful that he is mine!
